Who is Dan Braun?

In addition to being the founder/owner and trainer at Brawn Body Training Holistics, Dan is a full-time graduate student in Lebanon Valley College's Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program, set to graduate in May 2022. Dan is a certified personal trainer through both the NFPT and the Brookbush Institute. Dan is also a certified Human Movement Specialist through the Brookbush Institute, Suspension Training Specialist through TRX, and CTM provier. Dan is actively pursuing his Physical Therapy License and  NSCA-CSCS. Dan started Brawn Body in April 2019 to fill a void in the health and fitness industry: FAR TOO MANY trainers give inconsistent and ineffective training plans, using "cookie cutter" programs not individualized to their clients. Too many trainers recommend extreme dietary approaches, supplements, and lifestyles that are not maintainable long-term. Some trainers do not practice what they preach, and do not even workout themselves! Dan is CONSTANTLY learning and studying more to provide the highest level of service possible to his clients. Every exercise and piece of advice is actionable and grounded in logical reasoning. Dan actively engages in exercise and healthy lifestyle habits and believes in overall fitness for life. Dan added the Brawn Body Health and Fitness Podcast in March 2020, and has released hundreds of episodes featuring professional athletes, researchers, strength coaches, trainers, chiropractors, physical therapists, and many other distinguished guests.

Dan loves skiing (fun fact, he started skiing when he was 15 months old!) and has spent his life playing a variety of sports, such as soccer, baseball, and football. The gym has become Dan's staple, and you can find him lifting weights 5-6 times per week.

In Dan's free time, he likes to wakeboard, waterski, walk his dog, read books, hike, and challenge himself in any way he can. He enjoys spending time with his family. Dan believes in balance, and enjoys cheat meals such as mac and cheese, pizza, donuts, and French toast.
